- DermaHoney Border is a prescription (Rx), hydro-active, low-adherence, honey sheet containing dressing for use on acute and chronic wounds
- DermaHoney Border is a sterile, semipermeable wound dressing containing approximately 30% honey, an acrylic polymer gel and water with a polyurethane film backing, with an adhesive border
- The hydrogel-honey pad donates moisture to re-hydrate dry tissue and is also able to absorb low levels of exudate to help provide a moist environment conducive to healing
- The film backing provides the dressing with bacterial barrier properties
- The adhesive border from the DermaHoney Border allows the dressing to be fixed securely
- This is useful where patients need to shower or bathe with the dressing in place
- Indications: Pressure ulcers stage 2, 3, 4, partial and full thickness wounds
